YouTube Mashup Fixed in Blackboard

YouTube LogoLate last week Blackboard published a new building block to fix the issues with YouTube Mashup searches in Blackboard Learn 9.1 SP3 & SP4. We blog about this Mashup error at the beginning of February: Bug Watch: YouTube Search in Bb 9.1 Mashup Tool Fails. The patch has been installed and YouTube Mashups are working again!

The instructions on how to embed a video via YouTube embed code posted on Bug Watch blog can still be great resource to have for unlisted videos on YouTube that can’t be searched.

It would be a good idea to clear your cache and cookies in your internet browser before attempting to utilize Mashups again.

Don’t forget the other Mashups available include Flickr Photos and Slideshare Presentations.

Don’t know how to create a Mashup? Check out this video from Blackboard.
